Makes a 4.0L swap look darned near economical!
Looks to me like the extra high price was created by the replacement of both guides and seats, then that $60 for a head resurface has to be some kind of record. The $100 for the valve job is another high water mark.
  Find another shop. that bill reminds me of the Vet we just quit taking our dog to. Always another fee or product to be sold. They alsways quoted one price then charged more for everything. Then they wonderd why we stopped coming in. 
   That shop looks to be charging you for every procedure as if it was the only one they did. They made no allowances for overlapping procedures. No wonder they are nice! They can afford to be!
