Has anyone tried to remove a door window from a Gremlin, Hornet, or Pacer lately. How in the holy H--- do you get those Torx bolts loose which fasten the window to the window regulator? The43 appears to be brass flat-head cap screws which are designed to be loosened with a Torx T-30 bit. They thread through a nylon washer into another brass or steel fasten supposedly captured by the nylon washer. If the insert turns in the nylon washer there is no way to loosen the fastener. This may not be self-explanatory, but if you have attacked one of these lately you know what I'm talking about. You can hold the nylon washer with a flat blade screwdriver to keep it from turning but the insert sometimes turns in the washer. Then you are sunk. I'm taking a used door to a local auto glass shop tomorrow to get some advice. I have cut a hole in the front side of the door so that both sides of the fastener are visible (and accessable) but I still can't find a tool to hold the flanged fastener on the rear of the nylon washer. What an abortion of a design. Shame on the engineer who developed this abomination. May a pox be on him and anyone who approved this design. End rant.
