Yeah, I thought so, The OMC means it is for a boat, which means no emissions, no add on crap, the right bolt pattern for a AMC six 2 bbl manifold, looked like an electric choke too. I know some of the Roachfest carbs have a heavy loyal following.Hotrod parts are probably easy to get. The orignal Cubic inches it feed are right on the money for 232 and 199's so I figured I'd throw it out there. I'm not endorcing it or anything.
I've got a NOS Stromberg from a 1955 Dodge small 8 here if anyone is into playing with carbs. I bought it NOS bolted it on and it flooded and stalled and I took it off and tossed it in the shed.

Cheap chassis! I mean, they were economy cars! Honda et al do
a fantastic job at this, today, though I never rode in a early
70's Honda to know if they sucked too. Standards changed.

The Classic's really well insulated from road vibration. The
trans mount is usual, but the whole x-member is isolated. Spring
pads top and bottom front and rear (mine are long gone, though
I cobbled up something, I forget) and rubber in the panhard.

The Hornet, I really did a good job of heat insulation, air-tight
interior, and a fair -- but 400% better than factory -- sound
insulation job. With windows up, it's quiet, and cool; for
interior noise (wind, engine etc) it's not much worse than the
'96 Honda.

Though my exhaust is fairly loud, with that Summit turbo muffler.

The hornet is all road noise, thumps, rough surface, etc
all transmitted mostly the front, where the rear is just a
poor-weight-ratio longitudinal spring rear with no insulation.

I run decent Nitto tires, but maybe they're noisy, who
knows. It's not like I get to try 'em all out.

I don't know what kind of scale some tool companies use for rating
Horse power, but it's probably the same one that causes people to
remember their old Ford had a 400 HP 289! Sorry if I rant a bit,
but it's a pet peeve of mine!

1HP = 746 watts, which means a 100% efficient motor can only
get 2.3 HP out of a 15 amp 115 volt, circuit. Ever felt a motor
that was stone cold after running a while? No? I guess none are
100% efficient then are they!

About the most you'll get from a 115 volt, 15 amp circuit is 2 HP,
and that's being pretty generous. Their 11 amp motor, at 230 volts
is going to be 3 HP tops, just as you thought.

Grumble Grumble!

Dave

No, I didn't have the R&P at the time. It was only the biggest bumps
that caused a jar that I felt in the floor, but there were lots of them
in Biloxi! Worst roads I'd ever had to drive on continuously. We got
rid of our 93 Cherokee because of those roads -- ride was just to rough
for the wife, and I preffered the Rambler over the Chero! I think she
did too, another reason she wanted a better riding car -- mine was the
best!

70 Hornet shipping weight (2 door sedan, six) is 2677, 63 Classic 550
wagon is 2893. Assuming the shipping weights are somewhat similar
there's a tad over 200 # difference, so you should be about right.
