The typical Rambler car clutches were really light. They were designed that way to slip a little for a smoother engagement. Using the standard Jeep clutch should be more than adequate. They are designed for a more positive engagement. Makes sense because of the difference in usage -- easy to drive car vs. working truck. There should be little or no slip in the Jeep clutch, which does have stronger springs. _______________________________________________ AMC-List mailing list AMC-List@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.amc-list.com/mailman/listinfo/amc-list or go to http://www.amc-list.com
