Russ (and others) I would LOVE to drive the car back from CA, and in fact I do have the time right now. However, I priced out shipping and have had bids from $750 on the low end to about $1300 on the high side. I'm working with a few of the low bid companies to determine if the car will stay on one trailer the entire time and what sort of a pick up and delivery time window they need. I determined that it would ultimately be cheaper to have the car send to me than to fly out and drive back, plus I do not really relish the idea of a road-side repair in the middle of the Nevada desert! None of the car haulers have mentioned a fuel surcharge or anything like that, and honestly I'm surprized at how affordable the shipping is! - Justin Date: Wed, 10 May 2006 19:30:09 -0700 (PDT) From: russ hathaway <russh97309@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [AMC-List] V dubs To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <20060511023009.83794.qmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Justin; Grab your tool box, fly out there and buy a box full of breakdown supplys. Then drive the car home!! If you have time off, this is the best(?) way to get it home......Russ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
