They have been informed but could probably stand it again as they have made no effort to change the stock listing. RN12YC plugs are the correct plugs for almost all AMC engine application. The Champion stock number is 404 RN12YC SNIP I put the 14's in my amx, now its not running as good. SNIP 14's are hotter than recommended and can cause problems specifically detonation, which may explain your lack of success . For a variety of reasons I run Champion RN9YC plugs (Champion Stock Number 415) in my AMC cars with excellent success. They are a colder plug and apparently suit my driving conditions better. A modified engine driven hard or even a stock engine driven hard can benefit from colder plugs.
