Flower Car Definition

In the 30's, 40's, and 50's and some what into the 60's and possibly the
early 70's Caddy's and other big cars were converted into pickup style
El Camino's and Ranchero's by the coach builders that also built limo's
and hearse's just to cary the large amounts of flowers from the funeral
home to the grave site. The were used mainly on high end funerals. I
guess I just showed my age. I vaguely remember Babe Ruths funeral
procession passing my mothers house as a young child.
