no, that started in '67, not by accident at the same time 4-way
flashers became law.  the earlier switch is a ford part; i'm told the
mustang folk repro it.  i was able to get replacement ts cams from my
local carquest, ten years ago when i drove a '66.  i needed them more
than once; the older switch isn't nearly as robust as the saginaw one.

it takes more than just the spindles - it would be smart to grab the
master cylinder and proportioning valve as well - but yes it's a bolt
on.  if she's running radials she should also grab the wheels; radials
are happiest on wider wheels than the original bias-ply tires, and all
the ones i've run across still take the little dog-dish rambler
hubcaps.
