Steering turn signal pawls for '65 Rambler wagon - easy/hard to find?

  Got a lady in northen Virginia who has a '65 Rambler
wagon ( don't know which model ), which she says needs
"turn signals", which I assume is the plastic pawl
pieces which break. is this the same GM plastic type
as later ones, or an earlier model that is AMC? 
 She also wants to convert to discs, is this a simple
"donor-car" bolt on, with spindles, or more involved?
