I know what you mean, sometimes even though they don't fit the mold of what we here on the list typically like to IE: AMC engine in AMC body. Some times the swapped cars still have appeal. The 64 American with the Buick V-6 and the T-10 feeding an S-10 rear axle on Ebay is one such car. A basic swap job that just plain looks easy and well done. -- Mark Price markprice242ATadelphia.net Morgantown,WV >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> From: farna@xxxxxxx To: (AMC-List) Subject: 62 Rambler wagon in Mar 06 "Custom Rodder"! Not only that, but it's the four door, not the thwo door wagon. It's got big wheels (18" in front, 20" in back) which I don't care that much for, but they do look good on this car. Maybe I'm just getting used to seeing them though, since the big wheels are all the rage on lowered cars. This one sits on air bags all around, only 2-3" off the ground when down. Just don't turn the front wheels much when it's down or the tire will eat the fender! By the way, they call it a 62, but it's got a 63 grille. Since the grilles interchange a damaged 62 may have been replaced by a good 63, but then they may not know the difference... -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!)
