Okay, the chassis has been completely re-worked and it's got a SBC crate engine, but the exterior sheet meatl and glass was left totally unchanged, so it still looks very much like a Rambler from the outside! Not only that, but it's the four door, not the thwo door wagon. It's got big wheels (18" in front, 20" in back) which I don't care that much for, but they do look good on this car. Maybe I'm just getting used to seeing them though, since the big wheels are all the rage on lowered cars. This one sits on air bags all around, only 2-3" off the ground when down. Just don't turn the front wheels much when it's down or the tire will eat the fender! By the way, they call it a 62, but it's got a 63 grille. Since the grilles interchange a damaged 62 may have been replaced by a good 63, but then they may not know the difference... -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!)
