re: Concord/Hornet Ram Air hood; was g&gratskgoagr

What is so tough about doing a Ram Air hood on a Gremlin, Hornet, Concord or Spirit? The Ram Air scoops have been available for years. I believe besides John's car

There is several 78 Concord AMX's running around since the 1980s at AMO meets. Super looking setup.

Here is another homemade Ram Air hood:

Not Ram Air but out of Windy City:

or Hornet:

(that is Bill Ketchum's car with Stu Forney discussing strategy;
how about a Hornet AMX with Ram Air:

that is functional:

Hmmm, a 71-74 AMX with Ram Air:

And of course these have appeared in the last several months, personally I like them, but would use Tom J's words of looking 'busy' as it does look busy, but nothing like Ram Air:

If that link too big click here:

there, little link, and scroll down to the 68-69 AMX Ram air hood.

sure wished I could find a photo of that 78 light blue Concord AMX, beautifully done and wonder why AMC didn't consider something like that in later years with Ram Air.
