Are you using Outlook for mail? If so go to "Tools", "Options", then hit the "Mail Format" tab. The box after "Compose in this message format:" shoud contain "plain text". If not, hit the down arrow and select it. 

If changing the settings is a problem for some reason, or you just don't want to, there is another easy option. Go to the on-line site (www.amxfiles.com/archive) and log on. Once logged on you can hit "reply" and type your message in the box. No setting changes involved. The on-line program sends all messages as plain text.
