The first link is a Mercedes 3.0 DT 
inline 6 > DOHC > 24valve Diesel
1998 - 1999 USA
installed in a 190E body (might be
a 190D, but this is somewhere in
Scandinavians and you know the rest )


The second link is a Mercedes 300D Turbo 
circa. 1987 inline 6 installed in a 190E
body > thru '93.  This is a 3.0 engine
as well.


Slammin' one of these Europe Cousin 
motors into an AMC looks like a
Hydro-Boost conversion to attend
as the brake booster won't permit
that reach of snakes - intake tops 
anything a 4.0 could dream of attaining.

Ahh yeah,..... they just changed the
Turbo & a bigger exhaust with a chip
on the First install, a '98 or '99 3.0 TD
> 425.9 HP @ 4,300 RPM with 
709.80Nm Torque.


1 Nm = 0.73756 ft/lb


The 1987 3.0 TD kicks 143 Diesel-HP
in stock Trim.

The 1999 3.0 TD boots 34 more for a
stock Trim total of 177 Diesel-HP.


Best yet on the OM603 1987 engine
is 485HP street trim > bigger Turbo
etc. > I can't guess what the Torque
figure is.
