I know this sounds like an advertisement, but an ex-aerospace
machinist turned me on to this stuff called AeroKroil. It's not
cheap, $10 for a 8oz areosol can, but it makes autoparts-store
penetrants and WD40 look like freakin' glue.
The stuff crawls into the damnedest cracks. Small example:
aluminum spacer on the parts car's water pump pulley, probably
original, frozen solid onto the shaft. Wouldn't budge. Kroil, wait
ten, it came off by hand.
