Buy you a set of flare nut wrenches so your wrench doesn't screw up the
nuts, they are well worth the cost. Most auto sores have them or get
craftsman's one for $29.00. They will last your life time unless you
looooooose them to some one like one of your kids. Just barrowing them dad
will have them back tomorrooooow!

Subject: Fun with fuel and vacuum lines
I took the fuel pump off my 67 wagon yesterday and I'm having some "fun"
with the fuel line and vacuum wiper line. Both of those lines have the
flare nuts rusted to the lines at the fuel pump. I've tried several rounds
of PB Blaster with no luck, I haven't tried heat because they're attached
to the fuel pump (beside the gas issue, I don't want to damage the fuel
pump -- it needs to be rebuilt), and I'm trying not to mangle the lines
because I need to send them off to be duplicated.
Any suggestions for getting them off?
Thanks,
Matt
