Installing a "one wire" (integral regulator) alt will be far
cheaper!  ANd more output too. I use a 1984 Chevy application (the
autozone people can look that up...)

Theyre a tight fit on an old 232 but I run one on my 63 classic.
I modified the original motorola bracket to fit.
