Subject: Re: Mufflers-another scam item
Hey, it just occurred to me, for testing headers for flow,
which
sounds like a bunch of effort since there's 4 outlets (per
V8
side), why not flow them backwards?
Attach the outlet (bottom) to an air source, put a false
extention
on the "inlet" end for a few inches, measure
pressure/flow there?
Pipe is stupid, it doesn't know left from right.

Best Mufflers I know of are the SuperTrapp
Disc Type > patented< that mount to the
end of your exhaust Pipe....... comes in Stainless
Steel & you can Add or Remove serrated Discs
for Louder or Softer and these only allow the
Exhaust to Exit . Once the Flow Pressure drops
these Discs clamp shut > blocking 'Inhale'.
No other Muffler has this feature > that I know of.
