I'll keep the philosophic meanderings to a minimum but there are a couple of
basic truths that I have always held to.

1.  Everyone should have to be poor at some time in their life.
2.  Everyone should have to be a waiter (waitress ) at some time in their
life.
3.  Everyone should have to drive a Volkswagen Beetle for at least a year.
( a Chevette makes a decent substitute and a Pacer may as well)

Humbling experiences to be sure.
