I'm surprised Bart! I have to agree with you on this one, at least about the big vehicles that GM/Ford are pushing nowadays. Unfortunately they are just building what short sighted Americans want to buy. America has become so consumer oriented that we buy what we want NOW with little look to the future, corporations and the average individual alike. I've *almost* got my wife out of that way of thinking, at least she's much better than she used to be, as she can see the results of us not really having to worry much about how we will live 2-3 years from now when I retire from the military, and that we are prety much debt free now, just rent and associated living expenses is it -- cars are paid for and we don't buy a lot on credit. When we do, we pay that bill off before making another one, and we shop for the best deals. One year with no interest deals work really good -- as long as you pay off before that year is up. Otherwise you pay back interest, not just interest on the b!
