A: The Comando had the Buick V6 though and some 304s in the end @'72 (that's
what my J4000 got a flexplate from). Haven't heard of a stock Buick 350 one.
I think the adapter was originally designed for Chev to use up the leftover
nailhead trannies. Jeep used the same trans with another ring to bolt up to
the AMC V8s. (I saw a Buick 401 in a J4000 the other day)

well i don't drink coffee, so there! :^P
actually when i said 350, i meant the engine not the tranny.

yup, but the engine is bop - hence the adapter. used to puzzle me why
they didn't just use a bop case...
