Matt,
Your car sounds like my first Rambler, a 1968 American
green 4-door which I owned in Denver in the late 70s.
That car would start on cold mornings when our Volvo
wouldn't. I bought it for $250 and sold it for the
same price after about a year and a half. I upgraded
to a 1977 Pacer wagon.
