74 Cherokee Bucking/Cutting out Help Please

Hello Everyone
I?m a long time member but an infrequent poster.
I got a deal on a 74 Cherokee last week, 85000 mi on a
4bbl 360 originally from Colorado. I?ve always loved
that body style so I?m very happy with my purchase.
The body is in phenomenal shape, basically a very well
taken care of jeep. The problem with it is that when
accelerating it starts to buck at about 3000 rpm?s,
the engine cuts out then back in, bucks very badly
unless you let off the accelerator. It is worse when
under a load, such as going up a hill. It doesn?t cut
out when parked. Maybe a fuel delivery problem, like
it can?t get a consistent supply of gas that it needs?
The previous owner replaced the fuel filter, fuel
pump, dropped the tank to make sure it was clean (it
was), had the fuel lines blown out, and had the carb
professionally rebuilt. I swapped on an extra coil
and distributor I had, changed the plugs too; none of
these things have helped.

So, my ideas are that perhaps he got a bum fuel pump,
maybe the Carb float is mis-adjusted or not rebuilt
correctly, or of course it is something I haven?t
though about that one of you fine folks could suggest
to me. Any ideas/advice?
Thank you.
