Sunroof Gremlin - clip art - Part 1

Earlier this year - as you may or not recall,
I posted - looking for a Gremlin Sunroof - 
parts / clip .

It is the more interesting of 'Options' for 
the Gremlin - as  in my early years , 
I would see these on MGs , Jags,
Mini Coopers etc. 

Nothing came of the amc-list post -
nothing came of the ep.com post -
nothing came of the AMC Forum post -

where do I receive a reply from ?

Joe - a fellow AMC / Led Sled freak 
has 5 Gremlins I heard of - and is
a parts pak rat as well.

I get a eMail from Joe - stating that
he has a Roof Clip from a Sunroof
Gremlin - at his barn, & to give
him a call .

Checking his Telephone # to see
what the shipping charge might be -
he's in Middletown , New York - 
he's about half an hour away -

Ok - who here works with 'Odds on / against
finding a 33year old , 2 year only option
30min. away ?

I called, - talked car stuff & 
told him after Xmas I'd make 
the Trip.

Date set was for yesterday, 
Sunday Jan. 16, 2004.

Coldest day this month -
a 19 degree @ 11AM 
winds from the North
stay the hell home Sunday.
