I figure it is probably a T19 (posted so on the FSJ list we are both on) which can be checked out by going to www.google.com and typing in the blank what you want to see, then clicking on the word "Images" to get some FANTASTIC links to sites even I didn't know existed! And I've been to the http://endoftheuniverse.com ! From: farna@xxxxxxx Subject: Re: URGENT! IH 401 RWD, what tranny? To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Message-ID: <ADVANCES62YILoygXLs000015bc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Apparently the others didn't notice "four speed". It's most likely a T-10. If not, it's a heavy duty truck four speed with a granny low. Either way it's probably worth picking up along with the engine if you can get it at a good price. You can always run really high (low numeric) gears if it turns out to have a really low first.
