He's the one that did Krass and Bernie from the CarTOONs magazine.

In 1975, George started Krass and Bernie! It was about 2 dudes that lived in
a one car garage with a room above it. There was Bernie the tall skinny guy,
and Krass his short sidekick. They were only into two things: cars and
women. They could whip out a full custom car overnight, and still have time
to go pick up some babes.

Krass and Bernie were the first story in every issue, from Feb 1975 to the
last issue in Aug 1991. Some issues even had two K and B stories!
