We've all shared your pain at one point or another, welcome to the challenge of AMC ownership! 64-65 Americans are identical, that's about what you're stuck with. 66-69 interior panels (like door panels) MIGHT fit, take measurements. I don't know of anyone who has tried, but the American body was virtually the same from 64-69. The outside sheetmetal changed in 66 when the front was lengthened a couple inches to allow AC with the longer 199/232 engine, but the door frames should have stayed the same. You can get cover kits for the seats that are close to original from AutoCraft (JCW sells some AutoCraft covers) if you aren't concerned with 100% originallity, just want it to look "period". -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http//:farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!) -------------- Original message ---------------------- > From: "Brian Hagen" <brian.hagen@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: 65 Rambler interior questions > Date: Mon, 15 Nov 2004 20:43:02 -0500 > > Hello all, > > Since my 'other car' is a 70 Challenger, I have been used to being able to > find parts for my cars.
