I worked for Morton-Thiokol when the shuttle blew up, and when the defecation hit the rotary oscillator about that incident I made the exact same statement---

I was a tech in the 80's, Absolute Garbage!!!! The majority of AMC Jeep fires I saw caused by leaking plastic valve covers.

Stop!  The plastic valve cover was never any good! I take issue with
'Most didn't start to leak until 15-20 years old.'
