  Marty, have you taught your daughter to check the
oil "properly"? It's possible it got overfilled,and is
being whipped up the tube if there's too much. Not
sure if that would happen with an AMC motor, but
could. I take it you checked the level after it's sat
awhile to be sure...but also , a wrong dipstick could
be a culprit as well, if you got one from another AMc
car that has a different level. Just a thought...
