Carb selection for 401

I need to upgrade my carb to a 750 and was checking
ebay.  There is a 750 CFM Carter/Edelbrock Competition
Series Carburetor #9755S 3195 advertised.  The picture
shows a decal on the carb that states Carter AFB
Competition Series.  I can't find a Carter website and
Edelbrock doesn't have any such listing either.  Will
this fit the Air Gap intake?  Anyone have any info on
the carb, good or bad?  Thanks.
