Gellin' ;) Mark Holmes -----Original Message----- From: farna@xxxxxxx [mailto:farna@xxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 6:15 AM To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: AMC Jackets for Christmas? I'll be putting in an order for the nylon AMC jackets this weekend. If you want one delivered in time for Christmas you need to get your order in ASAP. I can't guarantee delivery in time for Christmas if the orders aren't in by 16 October. Any ordered after then may not arrive before Christmas. Mail from overseas around the holidays is always a bit slower than normal! Pics of the jackets are at http://groups.msn.com/amcsforever2/farnasramblers.msnw?Page=3 The nylon jacket pattern was "fixed" to have the white sleeve stripe aligned with the chest stripe as in the leather jacket pic. Lettering on back is in BLUE ONLY, any AMC model up to 8 letters. Patches for the front can be square "A-mark" (modern AMC), round "AM" script, or round AMX or Javelin Racing Team. Any name can be on front. Sub an embroidered name for a patch as well if you want. I can have them made with no patch or name, but no discount. Nylon is $70 including shipping in the US, sizes S-XXL (add $5 for larger). Sizes run American syle, not smaller. For leather I need chest, neck, and sleeve length measurment (from peak of shoulder to web between thumb and fore finger). Leather is $240, shipping to US included. Both are top quality jackets. The leather is dyed through, not spray on dye as the originals were. Both jackets are better than anything AMC ever made -- all stitched, no screen printing. I "make" about $15 each for my trouble of making these available. That money goes into the amcyclopedia.org website, right back into the AMC hobby, and to cover any possible loses (jackets are shipped insured to keep that to a minimum!). I'm not doing this for the money, just to make them available to you! -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) *Elite* publication for those interested in all aspects of AMC history, performance, restoration, etc .
