Even a blind bird gets a worm occasionally! Enough people have had problems with Badgers breaking when used in performance applications that I'd stay away from them if you know the car will be run hard more than just occasionally. They MIGHT take the punishment in stride and never break -- it's your engine. I wouldn't use them unless I was doing a stock or mild rebuild and knew for sure I wouldn't be running the thing hard very often. It usually takes a year or two to break one or two, but I want my engines to last longer than that. If all you can get/afford is Badger for your build, go for it. Just don't run the hell out of the engine all the time.
