Raw info wise the "Independents" book is the same. The AMC book has AMC/Jeep info that the other one doesn't have. The AMC book also has some AMC related articles from "Old Cars Weekly" that are interesting, but don't have any real info that make it a "must have" if you already have the "Independents" book.
