Kevin, if in you decide to scrap the 76 I sure could use some parts if you have them, Dash Board, door panels amc emblem. Please let me know. Thanks redneck2212 Gremlingts@xxxx wrote:Item 1 - Fender/opposite quarter repair panels - yes, Kevin, AMC did make use of the principle of shared stampings, so you can use a left fender to fix a right quarter, and vice versa. Works on other AMC cars as well, Javelin and AMX I think. It's been mentioned before on the main AMC-List. Keep the progress going! Item 2 - Karla's Gremlins - wow, you're almost up to my eight Gremlins in number! :) Most of mine are projects like yours. If things work out, I may scrap a '76 and keep my friends '71 project ( he's moving across country, and has to fix his '65 Rambler convertible up, no time now for a Gremlin race car project ). It's been sitting at my house for 9 months, if another guy doesn't take it, I"ll scrap my parts car I was trying to save, and keep this much nicer, earlier car instead. It'll need a title, but the body is much nicer. Anyway, hope your projects come along faster than mine! Sounds like they are. Money isn't my issue so much anymore as time ( and energy! ). Glad you have both of those as well. Got any pics of your cars online? Mine are at my website on Geocities. Take good care of them! All for now, off to work to earn a buck so I can fix my Gremlins up. Jerry Casper humid Virginia [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Yahoo!
