Be aware that the later manifolds had a bunch of smog crap in/on them, though. FWIW, my friend's 1979 Cherokee Chief (258/TH400/Q-Trac) manifolds appear identical to the 70's AMC car pieces. ----Original Message Follows---- From: "radman72d" <radman72d@xxxx> Reply-To: gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gremlintime] 1975 gremlin Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2003 16:30:27 -0000 i need an intake and exaust manifold for a 1975 gremlin 258 6cyl with power steering please help thanks _________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 8 Date: Mon, 31 Mar 2003 04:13:28 -0500 From: "John Ferguson III" <liberty_valence@xxxx> Subject: Re: 1975 gremlin Well, OK, maybe he doesn't have to go Jeep-hunting. :) BTW, I've found styrofoam works well to pack hoods & other sheetmetal parts for shipping. Also, the rubber "corners" that glass companies use to transport plate-glass help avoid crunched corners (thank you, Car Craft, for that tip). I get them free (my friend's son installs storefronts for a living), but they can't cost much. ----Original Message Follows---- From: james johnson <rooster1@xxxx> Reply-To: gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [gremlintime] 1975 gremlin Date: Sun, 30 Mar 2003 20:22:28 -0800 mr radman72d.. i got what ur look'n fer..{ intake & exaust manifold }..i'll sell them to you fer one $50.00 bill ok..plus you pay the ship'n..pack'n..handl'n..insurance ok..if you would lik to e-mail me at rooster1@xxxx we can talk about it there ok..thanks fer bein interested ok.. thanks again ok james- {onehorsetrader}.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------- PS- i got alot of other amc parts fer sale...i'm just now part'n out another 1974 amc gremlin.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------- i got a 1970 & a 1974 amc gremlin hoods there free to whoever wants them..just pay all the ship'n expenses and send me $25.00 to buy a large roll of shrink wrap so i can wrap the hell out of it fer ship'n.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------- i got a 3-speed transmission from a 1974 amc gremlin 258 six- cyc. its free to whoever wants it..just pay all the ship'n expenses ok..send me $25.00 so i can buy a large roll of shrink wrap to wrap it up real good fer ship'n ok.. e-mail me at rooster1@xxxxx thanks again ok james- {onehorsetrader}.. radman72d wrote: > i need an intake and exaust manifold for a 1975 gremlin 258 6cyl > with power steering please help thanks > > > Community email addresses: > Post message: gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxx > Subscribe: gremlintime-subscribe@xxxxxxxxxxx > Unsubscribe: gremlintime-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxx > List owner: gremlintime-owner@xxxxxxxxxxx > > Shortcut URL to this page: > http://www.onelist.com/community/gremlintime > Gremlintime(Home of the AMC Gremlin on the WWW): > http://www.geocities.com/gremlintime > > Your use of Yahoo! Just on a whim, I looked up to see how many "special" two passenger Gremlins were buit in 1970 and 1971 and wondered how many are still around. They were only built in 1970 and 1971. Someone once told me that they were built for "fleet use" and were made bare bones but ended up costing American Motors more to make them because they were so "special. Has anyone else ever heard this. A guy that owned a dealer told me this. 1970- 872 two passenger Gremlins built. 1971- 2,145 two passenger Gremlins built. Thats a total of 3,017 built. Like I said, I'm wondering the the last time I've seen one on the road or at a meet. Any body else coming across any of them?
