Re: Rocker Panel mouldings - underneath the doors on the OUTSIDE

The Rocker mouldings are the trim strips located underneath the doors and
along the bottom of the rear quarter in front of the rear wheels. It protects
the painted areas from chipping, and gives the car a classy look. They're
probably 2 inches wide on a Gremlin. Look at the little sheetmetal area below
the doors that extend back to the rear wheels. Thats where the rocker
mouldings would be if the car has them. Usually holes located every 12 to 18
inches to mount moulding clips if they're missing.
