I hate to burst your bubble out in Oregon, but there have been quite a few Gremlin grills available recently, I missed one on Ebay, that was an NOS for a '74-76, it sold for $45 !!! I could have had it last Spring at Cecil for $40, but I had no cash then, was still fresh in the new job. And to think I've paid between $40 and 75 for used ones! True, these deals don't come up often, but they DO come up. And a used broken grill isn't worth more than $25 if that, even if good ones are hard to find. Just keep looking, is my advice. I have had no trouble find parts, some stuff like V-8 motor mounts and engine crossmembers are expensive and hard to find, though, so you'll have to expect to pay for those. Even so, there's a kit out now to convert a 6 crossmember for a V-8, so why pay $300 for a Xmember when you can keep your stock one? Soon as I find out who is selling the kit ( any one know offhand?), I'll see about purchasing one. Different parts of hte country have more or less Gremlins, I guess, Virginia seems to still have a decent selection of them. I picked up an NOS Gremlin taillight lense for a '77-78 for $15 yesterday at my local car club's annual car show/meet. Had some nice vendors there. Some good Gremlins, too, had a purple one and a red one show up. Both '71 models. First time two Gremlins have shown up in a while! Usually none are at the show. Mine couldn't make it, I had to work, and the valves still need worked on, and a new valve cover gasket. Anyway, guess I'll try to work on cars today, I don't have a single vehicle worth anything to drive, they all have problems. One truck overheats, the other's starter is intermittent, the Gremlin valves aren't right, etc. just sucks. Oh well, maybe I can fix one or two of them today. Later, Gremmers! Jerry in Virginia
