Ours ws appraised at $3000. But the appraiser basically asked, what have you got into it? Norbert told him $3000, he looked the car over & then that's the value that he put on the car. We've got our insurance company & her insurance company involved now. I keep hearing that KS is a no-fault state. I'm so tired of this already & we haven't even heard what insurance thinks they're going to get by paying. Karla - , - With that in mind Karla, you put in that you had $3,000 in parts restoration - and add on the cost of another starting vehicle - Cost + 3,000.00 restoration = settlement. If you have reciepts - all the better. And - add the cost of traveling to and from to purchase the next one . They will settle with what you want - you just hold out for what is right by you. Just went thru this myself - & my insurance Lawyer gave them what they wanted . And that is Allstate!!!!!!!! Brien. 1981 AMC 'milners coupe'
