At the same time I made the window opening with parts from the bone yard. I ended up mounting it above the window at the center. I drilled a hole thru the body metal and sandwiched it with beveled washers (inside and out) that I made so that the wiper would run on the glass. It worked for many years and the window opened many times, but I do not remember what I did with the wiper when I opened the window. I do remember that the park position was right at the top of the window more or less horizontal. I think it just moved out of the way. Perhaps that is an option.
