Kenosha Report

For those who missed Kenosha, it was AWESOME! My family and I were charmed by the town where our beloved AMCs were built. It was an AMC spotter's paradise. Many drivers could still be seen on the streets. As for the swap meet, a Gremlin go-cart was for sale for $1,600 (not sure if it sold), and there were 2-3 others at the show. I would estimate 15-20 Gremlins, maybe more, in the 1,000 or so cars on the showfield. Some nice originals, as well as modifieds. Can't remember seeing any '78's though. Nor was there a GT Gremlin among the group (Jerry in VA would have gotten all the attention with his). I've never seen so many AMXs, Javelins & Metros in my life! It was mind numbing. But great fun. I told my wife, I'll bet that since this show was so successful, they try it again in a few years. It was too good not to!
