looking for a lost friend

i hope someone out there can help...i've been
searching for a while now. about 7 years ago my dad
gave me the coolest gremlin ever that he customized
himself. it was a '76 with suicide hydrolic doors, two
racing bucket seats up front ,no back seat, painted
metal flake red, annd super fast. i only had it for
about 2 years before it got sold (i was a stupid kid
and couldn't properly care for it. well, this car was
my dads pride and joy, not only because of all the
time and money he put into it, but also because the
car was originally given to him by his teacher and
friend who taught my dad everything he knows about
auto body work , shortly before he died. i would LOVE
to find my old car and suprise my dad with it, he
would be extremely thrilled. this was in the new
jersey area, i think my dad last heard of the car
being seen in toms river, but that was about 3-4 years
