Beyond the Horizon....my gosh, worst car I even owned..bought a '79 used in '88 for $1100 and ended up putting another $2k in repairs in the next 2 yrs...that aluminum engine and a poor cooling system cracked don't fare well together *sigh* ...and the door handles breaking and the doors falling off and the rear defroster going kaputt...if I had had a grenade I would have put it out of its misery...after that car a local mechanic sold me a '77 4 door Hornet in good shape...I was never much of a Hornet fan, and who knew back in 1991 that AMCs would be in demand again? I am catching up however. Got two Grems and always on the lookout to SAVE another. Not going to by an Eagle now when there may be another Gremlin on the Horizon! :-)) Freddie 2x '74 GremX ----- Original Message ----- From: <Gremlingts@xxxx> To: <gremlintime@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 09, 2002 5:21 PM Subject: [gremlintime] Unclass acts, Nerd cars in USA Today ...Gremlin, CHEVETTE, Pinto, etc.... > Ok, you clowns, you're starting to make this Gremlintime list sound like > a stupid AOL Car Chat room, what with your egos seeing who can outdo the > other in stupidity.
