 I will always agree with Bart on this topic. Why buy a unique car like a 
gremlin and bastardize it with the most common engine on the planet? I say be 
original keep it original. AMC Vs arent THAt hard to come by. Especialy the 
360 from a jeep. Chrysler kept the 360 all the way till 92 in the big 
wagoneres. They are super easy to find. Spend a little extra time and maybe 
money and do it right. Dont take the easy way out and go SB Chevy. Yer car 
will be ashamed to show itself with its brand new baboon heart transplant. If 
yer into Chevies buy a Vega and stuff a treefiddy in it .Into AMCs keep em 
AMCs.
