pulled tranny out of 1976 Gremlin!

Well, I have the tranny out of the 1976 it is getting rebuilt (I work part
time at a transmission shop) It is a 998 NOT A 904 AMC did not use the 904
in 1976 (look in the 1976 TSM if you don't believe me).
I have the 1976 TSM,plus my friend at the shop also said it is a 998 also.
I am still working on the 1972 also!!!
