I found one of our kittens ( 6 months old ) outside under the Gremlin playing with something ( obligatory AMC content, grin! ), and got it away from him...it was a baby bird! Still alive, too. Had feathers and looked pretty far along in baby-birdhood, so it might have a slim chance of surviving. I got a worm down him before bed time. I might take it to work with me tomorrow, and see if I can keep it alive for now. Could be a baby mockingbird, I don't know. Probably fell out of the nest in the pine trees by my driveway. I'll see how long I can keep it alive, I know they need alot of feeding during the day. Although with my company in as bad a shape as it's in, I will probably have enough spare time to try. LOL. Anyway, enough for tonite, no more progress on the Gremlin(s), I took a break and used some free hardwood flooring recovered from my work dumpster to make a top for a coffee table. Turned out ok, it's strong enough to stand on! Needs the edges finish-sanded, and some other little "touches", but will serve the teenager ok. :) Well, I'm gonna put "junior" to bed, and get a shower. Enough excitement for one night! Jerry new "daddy" named "Big Bird". Maybe I should buy an Eagle? ROFL!
