Well, I don't understand the reasoning. It's not just an "AMC Pride"thing,
I just don't like the idea of mixing engines like that, in any instance.
The only reason I could see for putting a bowtie in an AMC is if you are
very strapped for cash, and if that is the scenario, it doesn't make since
to be putting that much money into the car in the first place. I believe
it costs approximately 1/3 more to build an AMC V8. As for other makers'
parts content, again, it's all a matter of originality for me. That, and
every one and their brother has a friggin SBC.
