Dear Jerry Just so happends that I can help. My name is Mike and I live in upstate NY. I own a 1972 Gremlin X which has been converted to 4x4 using the original gremlin frame but welding iron blocks to the frame and to the iron, bolted jeep cj5 axles using jeep springs also. The power brake system as well as the power steering unit is also out of the jeep cj5. The motor that is in mine is a 343 from a 69amx i believe and the tranny is a turbo 400 with a jeep transfer case. I suggest that if you ever do ,do this, you do it just like mine cause it is awesome lookin.
