Cullen - 

what happened to the Original Gauge ? 
Is the gauge or the sending unit bad ?

Try Napa 0r AutoZone etc, for
a sending unit .

I urge all on the gremlin list to join
the amc_list as there are 'Experts' 
with factory books & tons of background
on Gremlins & AMCs' . A few are 
shop owners & might have parts .

Another thing is to find the TSM
Technical Service Manual for
your year AMC .

This is their Tech Line .

You'll REALLy *### 'em up
calling in about a Gremlin.

These guys usually answer questions
on Street Hemis' and such .

I'd go with Original Gauges 
on the Gremlin just because
they're cool to start with.

there are at least two people who
could help answer the wire codes
& tests for the sending unit & gauge.
