I believe copyright would expire after 25 years. You should be able to confirm that easily enough with a web search.
I, for one, would definitely buy some t-shirts off of you. I had a really great one I wore when I bought my new Gremlin X back in '74 (which I now regret having sold and am scouring the market for a Gremmie).
Anyways, please put me on your t-shirt list :-)
