No more front end problem , 76 Grem gets spindle, on 4's...

Well, thanks to Dave Moeller of Norfolk, VA, I got a useable spindle, and
bolted it the '76 project Gremlin last nite, so it now is sitting firmly on
the ground on 4 wheels now, and can be rolled and moved around. Haven't
gotten any more notices from the cops lately, got my driveway gate up, so
they can't see anything, got rid of one car, and should have a few more legal
soon. I'll probably install some side fencing to block that view of my
driveway soon. Then I can thumb my nose at them nosy neighbors. :) Ah, the
joys of living in a Totalitarian ( er, I mean Democratic ) society... heh.
Nothing else at the moment AMC is going on, still working on building sheds,
got one more approved Monday for a total of 3 now, and had the others
modified as my measurements were off, so that uses up all my "legal" space
for storage. The County clerk told me to ignore the County Inspector,as my
sheds don't require permits, and mentioned in an aside that several are
ex-cops who are real horses A**es. :) So, that's a relieve! Hope to be
concentrating again soon on working on the cars, rather than working to
hide/legalize them. Hauled the fiancee's VW Scirocco away the other night to
a mechanic to work on, as I'm swamped and couldn't figure out the electrical
problem with the headlilghts. So, should have that one legal this week, with
any luck. That's all from the Gremlin Garage, I'll keep ya posted on my
problems ( like you want to hear them! )

Jerry
